Jordan J. Norris

Welcome! 

I'm an Assistant Professor of Economics at New York University Abu Dhabi. I received my PhD from Northwestern University and hold a Masters in Theoretical Physics from the University of Cambridge.

My research interests lie at the intersection of Spatial Economics (how location affects economic activity) and Networks, motivated by space being a network. Topics include International Trade, Economic Geography, and Macroeconomics. 

I'm co-founder and co-organizer of the Middle East Spatial and International Economics (MESIE) conference. Program: 2023, 2024, 2025.
