Jordan J. Norris

Welcome! 

I'm an Assistant Professor of Economics at New York University Abu Dhabi. I received my PhD from Northwestern University and hold a Masters in Theoretical Physics from the University of Cambridge.

My research interests lie at the intersection of Spatial Economics (how location affects economic activity) and Networks, motivated by viewing space as a network. Topics include International Trade, Economic Geography, and Macroeconomics. 

I'm co-founder and co-organizer of the Middle East Spatial and International Economics (MESIE) conference. Program: 2023, 2024, 2025.
